Details of the Tour de France Grand Départ from Lille to be revealed on October 29
We've known it for some months now... The Grand Départ of the 2025 Tour de France will take place in the Metropole. Details of the stages were revealed today at a press conference.
Good news for all cycling fans: the Grand Départ of the 112th Tour de France will be held in the Metropole! While the start and finish towns for the first 3 stages are known, the rest of the route is still a mystery. This will be revealed on Tuesday October 29 at a major press conference in Paris organized by the Tour de France organizer, Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO). After setting off from Copenhagen in 2022, Bilbao in 2023 and Florence in 2024, the Tour de France will set off from the Metropole in 2025. The Métropole Européenne de Lille, the Département du Nord and the Région Hauts-de-France have joined forces to support the region's bid. Looking forward to July 2025!
