The Tour de France 2025 kicked off with a bang in Hauts-de-France! This Saturday, July 5, the city of Lille vibrated to the rhythm of the riders for the launch of the 112ᵉ edition of the Grande Boucle. And it was Belgian Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin-Deceuninck) who raised his arms in victory at the finish line!

At the end of a beautiful day punctuated by a fast pace and beautiful sunshine, it was in a lively finale that the sprint was launched in the streets of Lille. Despite a few injuries in the peloton, Philipsen won with authority ahead of Biniam Girmay (Intermarché-Wanty) and Norway's Søren Wærenskjold (Uno-X Mobility). A clear victory which rewards a fine team effort!
