Coming by car

Traffic and parking restrictions

Starting July 7 at 5:30 p.m. :

  • Traffic and parking prohibited on boulevard Maignan Larivière, place Longueville, Mail Albert 1er and rue de la République (from carrefour Maignan Larivière to rue Alphonse Paillat) Traffic prohibited on boulevard Maignan Larivière and Mail Albert 1er opposite place Longueville.
  • Reverse traffic direction: rue Alphonse Paillat
  • Two-way traffic: rue Lamarck between the Mail Albert 1er and rue Duthoit crossroads
  • Dead-end streets: rues Blasset, Cozette and Delpech between rue Millevoye and place Longueville.

Starting at 8:00 pm:

  • The ban on traffic and parking extends to boulevards Carnot, Guyencourt, Pasteur, Jules Verne (up to rue Lemerchier) AND to the boulevard Maignan Larivière and Mail Albert 1er contra-alleys opposite Place Longueville.
  • Dead-end streets: rues Dumigny and Lemerchier between rue Voiture and boulevard Jules Verne, AND rues Béranger, François Meusnier, Dom Grenier between boulevard Guyencourt and rue Dom-Bouquet AND the central lanes of Esplanade Branly.

Starting Monday, July 7 at 10:00 p.m. :

  • Prohibited parking along the entire route (all parking benches and some identified parking areas).
  • Derogation possible for residents who have visibly affixed the municipal authorization, with the obligation to leave the premises by Tuesday, July 8, 7am. Information: amiens.fr/tdf2025
  • Parking prohibited and inconvenient on rue de la République, rue Duméril, rue de Beauvais and rue de la 2e D.B.: no derogation possible (installation of a barricading system from Musée de Picardie to rue de la 2e D.B.).

From Tuesday, July 8 at 10:00 a.m.:

  • The entire route is closed to traffic and will reopen progressively from 2pm.

Getting around by public transport

The Ametis bus network, comprising 43 electric vehicles and 102 thermal vehicles including 32 Bio GNV, serves the 39 communes of the conurbation.

On July 8, Amétis completely redesigned its network to make way for the festivities surrounding the start of stage 4.
