Grand'Place / runners' parade
On July 3, from 12pm to 9pm, temporary traffic closures on the following routes:
Place du Théâtre, Grand'Place, boulevard Carnot (between rue des Canonniers and rue des Bons-Enfants) and rue des Bons-Enfants.
Place Rihour, rue des Arts and rue des Canonniers (between boulevard Carnot and place des Buisses).
The Grand'Place and Opéra parking lots will be progressively closed, depending on the facilities.
Streets closed to traffic for start and finish
Esplanade / Start of 1st stage (Allée des Marronniers)
No parking in Champ de Mars parking lots from 9pm on July 1 to 11pm on July 5.
No traffic on the parade route (in red on the map) on July 5 from 5:30 am to 2:30 pm.
Boulevard Vauban / Finish of stage 1
No parking :
- All along boulevard Vauban (between pont du Petit Paradis and place du Maréchal Leclerc): from Friday 4 at 7.30pm to Saturday 5 July at 11pm.
- On the entire route (red and yellow zones on the map) from 1 a.m. on Friday, July 4, except for :
- L'Esplanade: from Monday July 1 at 9pm.
- Boulevard Vauban (between Pont Royal and Place Leclerc), Boulevard de la Liberté (between Vauban and Rue de Bourgogne), Squares Daubenton, Ramponneau and Façade de l'Esplanade (excluding side roads): from Thursday July 3 at 8pm.
No traffic
- On Boulevard Vauban and adjacent streets (from Place de Fauquemont to Place Cormontaigne): Saturday July 5, from 4am to 11pm.
- From avenue de Dunkerque to boulevard de la Lorraine (final finish line): Saturday, July 5, from 12pm to 6:30pm.
Your shops stay open
For the duration of the event, Lille's businesses remain open and welcome you at their usual times, including those located within the security perimeter.
Coming by train
The Lille-Flandres and Lille-Europe stations, located in Lille city center, are connected to the MEL's public transport network, linking it several times a day with London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Cologne and of course Paris and many other major French cities.
Tourcoing station is located in the heart of the city and is connected to line 2 of the Ilevia metro network.
A TER network serves 34 stations in the region.
Air travel
Lille-Lesquin airport is linked to Lille city center by the Flibco shuttle bus (20-minute journey).
Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport can be reached directly by TGV, in less than an hour.
Coming by car
12 Park-and-Ride facilities (5500 parking spaces) are located throughout the Lille metropolitan area. Located in the immediate vicinity of a metro station, bus hub or TER station, and with direct access from motorways, they provide easy access to the city center and to all destinations in the metropolis.
To improve air quality, the European Metropolis of Lille (MEL) introduced a low-emission mobility zone (ZFE-m) on January 1, 2025.

Getting around by public transport
The Lille metropolitan area boasts a comprehensive, multimodal public transport network: two tramway lines and two metro lines are at your disposal to make getting around as easy as possible.
The ilévia bus network, comprising 140 bus routes, covers more than 550 kilometers, crossing 89 communes.
Getting around by bike
MEL offers a self-service bicycle system, V'lille, a comprehensive package combining self-service bicycles and parking for personal bikes, connected to the Ilevia network. There are currently 2,200 bikes and 223 V'Lille stations deployed in 15 communes.
Bike parking
For the start of the Tour de France stages in our region, AG2R LA MONDIALE and the Tour de France are encouraging you to come out and support the riders by offering you free supervised parking for your bike.

Getting around on scooters and bikes
Self-service electric scooters and electric-assist bicycles (VAE) have been deployed since summer 2023 in 68 communes across the metropolis.
