Tour de France 2025, departure from Amiens
Seven years after the victory of Dutch sprinter Dylan Groenewegen, and at the conclusion of the last of the ten Tour finishes hosted in Amiens and its metropolitan area, and for the fourteenth visit of the Grande Boucle, the city of Jules Verne will be the scene of a departure for an as yet unknown destination. The historic capital of Picardy will be able to show off its majestic setting to followers, spectators and television viewers: Notre-Dame Cathedral, the country's largest, a jewel of Gothic art and a UNESCO World Heritage Site; the Hortillonnages, floating gardens in the heart of the city; not forgetting the Musée de Picardie, a veritable palace that was the first to be built specifically to house works of art.

Amiens loves cycling, but also soccer and - less well known - ice hockey!
