Fiesta: lille3000's new festive season
The metropolis is transformed into a bubbling cultural laboratory: parades, exhibitions, participatory projects and shows will set the region abuzz with collective effervescence! Come and rediscover the sense of celebration at the heart of Lille's culture.
Héritage bière: France's first brewery tourism label
In collaboration with thirty-five breweries in the metropolitan area, the MEL has created "Héritage bière", a quality label for visitors to identify the region's craft breweries that offer tourist facilities. A first in France.
This brewery tourism label has a graphic identity based on the codes of beer (hops, water and barley), and its objective is specified through the notions of "encounter, discovery and sharing". The aim is to make brewery sites open to visitors more visible, and to enable our brewing culture to be shared more widely.
The City Pass, the key to sightseeing
Getting ready to visit the Lille European Metropolis? The Natural Spaces of the MEL
In 2025, the Espaces Naturels de la MEL are joining forces with Fiesta for a season dedicated to gathering and sharing. Like sport, festivity is rooted in our territory's DNA: exchanges, cohesion, effervescence - all traits that set metropolitans apart. This season, more than 200 events are on offer across the metropolis to celebrate nature, raise awareness of our rich biodiversity and encourage a new dynamic between festivities and ecological transition.
An innovative, sustainable destination
Lille Metropole is a destination of choice for tourists and event organizers sensitive to sustainable development and in search of inspiring experiences. Lille Metropole has now been awarded the "Destination Innovante et Durable" (Innovative and Sustainable Destination) label, reaffirming its commitment to creating an environment where tourism respects the environment's balance, by involving all tourism stakeholders in virtuous practices.
Lille Métropole's exemplary status is further enhanced by its excellent rail links and remarkable accessibility of business venues by sustainable transport.
A platform for offsetting the carbon impact of your trip has been set up by the MEL with France congrès événement and the Fondation de Lille, so you can make your contribution to a solidarity project to help disadvantaged people go on vacation, or support a low-carbon agricultural project.
